My experience from smoking

Man oh man! I definitely learned a lesson this past weekend. I'll start off with alittle back story of the situation. So the past two weeks my mom left the house to myself. I was pretty much on my own at the house and usual whenever she leaves for PI I throw some sort of party. Well those two weeks I did everything bad for my health.

See, I usually smoke a cigarette, I would say, every few months or so. During this open house I smoked almost everyday since I didn't have to worry about my mom catching on. I guess the smoking became a major shell shock to my body. On top of the smoking I didn't exercise during the whole two weeks.

I went to Disneyland and California Adventure this past weekend and to my demise I could feel the side effects. I was having a hard time breathing the whole weekend. So, yesterday I decided I need to get back on the exercise train. I assumed that I would be able to run my normal 24min/3mi run but was I definitely mistaken. I could not even run 5mins without having to gasp and heave for air.

I never thought that cigarettes would have that great of an affect on my body. After my gym session, I wanted to find out why my symptoms were so extreme. Come to find out, the smoking from the past two weeks ended up worsening my bronchial spasms. In addition to making my bronchial spasms more sporadic and frequent, cigarettes, could have caused a development of asthma if I were to continue.

This all just happened this past week so I don't even know how much this has affected me. I hope I will be able to overcome this minor setback. I can't and won't let smoking ruin my chances of reaching my goals.

I, Rustico Ordonez Rasing II, declare from this day forth that I shall never smoke another cigarette. I hope the friends and family that read this will be supportive of this decision.
